Have you heard of Claude Monet, one of the greatest artists of the 19th century? Let's join Kirakira in exploring his life, career, and why he became a pivotal figure in the Impressionist movement.

Monet was born in 1840 in Le Havre, France, and he started painting at a young age. In 1859, at just 19 years old, he studied at the Belle Arti Academy in Florence, Italy. However, he didn't complete the program and returned to France in 1860 to further his artistic career and forge his own path.

Throughout his career, Monet created numerous impressive paintings of landscapes and gardens, most notably his series of water lilies. He used a technique of blending colors to vividly capture the fleeting moments of nature, leaving a profound impression on viewers. With his talent, he became one of the founders of the Impressionist movement.
